Tour of Bologna’s Food Market
If you wish to make your experience even more complete let us take you for a tour of Bologna’s central food market before the class.
We will meet at the market one hour before the standard starting time of our class and take you on a journey among the central alleys of Bologna, show you the local products and shop for some of the ingredients we will later use.
Customizing Your Lessons
As you will be the only students, once you book a private class you will be able to choose, with our supervisions and suggestions, 3 traditional recipes that will take into account your preferences and eventual dietary restrictions.

A great experience

Michelle is so well informed and passionate about what she does. She is patient, kind, funny and made the experience great.

Incredible and memorable Private Class in Bologna
My mother and I took a cooking class with Barbara and learned how to make traditional tagliatelle with Bolognese meat sauce, tortelloni (parsley, ricotta and parmesan) with butter and sage, and tiramisu!
It was my favorite Italian cooking class in a wonderful setting.
Barbara was so kind and friendly, we had such a great time.
The food was delicious too!!!

Tour at the Market and Private Class in Bologna
We had a great time! Pietro took us through the city market, explaining in detail the importance of different ingredients and their influence on the desired outcome of preparing the dish.
We also walked around the city center and learned about the history of the public market.
We created delicious dishes in the kitchen and he was very accommodating and patient helping even my 9-year-old son to fully participate.
I highly recommend him if you visit the area.

Scheduling Your Lessons
The class normally takes 3 hours and at the end you will taste the food you have made with water and a glass of local wine.
Classes normally start at 10am and are followed by lunch or at 4 or 5pm and are followed by dinner.
